Well, there's no way I would have got my first release 100% accurate; but the gameover reporting not working was worse than I expected. Sorry! By the looks of it pes5 has in built matchmaking (from what I've heard) so perhaps this could be your last week with us :) Change log Version 2.1 * Fixed bug I introduced where final game messages weren't appearing. Ooops! * New option in the option menu to turn on and off timestamps * Hosts list should finally be properly fixed. If someone puts up a host then changes channel; their name will disappear. Also stopped people from putting up a host then joining another host. * If you try to connect and the nickname you try is already taken: you will now connect as a pes4guest and actually SEE your nickname has changed. Previously there was a bug where you would connect as pes4guest but you appeared to yourself to have the taken nickname. * Few minor text colour changes; topics now actually stand out as they should do! * Fixed random disconnect / slowdown in pes4 bug since this 2.02: this has required turning off enforced clubhouse usage. October 17th 2005 New pes4online release (version 2.02) Yeahyeah its been over 6 months since the last release; but I (Celeborn) recently got the source code off of skn3 and had a little play; and the result is a few small bug fixes and a few small improvements to make that pes4online experience that little bit better. A lot of rooms are trimmed down / some merged for this release. This is because with pes5 being released soon; it made sense to consolidate what already exists; and also creates room for my bot if a pes5online is needed (depending on how Konami implement online play!) I will update everyone once i recieve my ipod :D July 24th 2005 Rosters Update..... There's been a lot of talk and rumours recently about updating the rosters for pes4online. Basically, there will be no update until the transfer window is closed. If an update was released now, then by the end of the week more transfers will have gone through, meaning the squads are already out of date. Waiting til the end of the transfer window will ensure that when an update IS released, it will be a stable release that is used through until the release of PES5. Many people use pes4online for leagues and tournaments etc... constantly changing squads would be very unfair and frustrating especially for those users. For many months now there has been the possibility for select people (who you may see online with a + or @ next to their name) to host knockout tournaments in the two World Cup rooms. Currently only a few people in the know actually took part in them. Now it is time to make them a bit more public and let everyone know how they actually work. Take a look at my new tournament guide, then why not pop by into a WC room to see how they work :) And of course let us know what you think of them on the forums :) April 8th 2005 Version 2 bug fix (version 2.01) Ok the beta testers have been hard at work as have celeborn and I. We have ironed out probably all the bugs that were introduced in version 2, as well as some very old bugs COUGH whoops. I have started a public change log. This will now come in all future updates so you can see what has been done. A ping feature was experimented with; it worked alright when ports were setup correctly, but the trouble came when a port was blocked. This would cause a 10 second pause in pes4online that was not under my control. Damn you blitz grrr. Anyway, so as you may guess ping was removed. Sorry folks. Took only 2 days, but hey its lookin pretty nice aye ?. The site is cached entirely with html, so nice n fast. It features a tasty admin section that will "render" the html files when they are updated. Added some handy sections like downloads, and updated the guide. Enjoy :D March 22nd 2005 Pes4online version 2.0 released !! Here we go folks, its what you have all been waiting for (well I am guessing not many of you knew about it) version 2 of pes4online. Alot of hard work has gone into this by both celeborn and me, and the helpful beta testers .. thanks :D It was a mad rush to get this out in time, as I am losing the internet for a while after today.. if you spot any bugs / typos, please help by posting them in the forum. IF you decide to post a bug, make sure you give instructions on how to recreate the problem. Now without further time wasters, here is the list of updates in version 2.0: Fixed friends list. This will still happen sometimes, but it has been fixed greatly Changed manual connect menu to use single input box. Can now copy and paste to your hearts content Changed all popup windows to custom window style. Purely cosmetic, but looks nice Changed menus. A seperate panel that recieves special report messages from the channel Added public game report. This will monitor the hosts running game, and report to the channel they are in. This includes kick off, goals, bookings, half time, full time, extra time, penalties and sudden death! Added public game commentator. This uses situation recognition to deliver apropriate commentation to the channel. For example, if there are seconds to go in the match and somoen scores, it will recognise this and deliver full text commentation that fits the situation Added local game commentation. This will keep a record of your game. Useful if you want to look at your match after you have played Added challenge button to private message window Added new challenge interface. You will no longer be blocked from typing when you challenge/host. Instead a panel appears under the main chat panel. This panel has a close button, which will close the challenge window and cancel any challenge you had running. Added chat sounds. The first and most important thing I should say about this update, is that it now introduces full support for WE8!! A ful list of updates: Added support for winning eleven 8. WE8 and PES4 are treated as seperate games, and have seperate settings & channels. If you have both games installed pes4online will prompt you which you would like to use, when you load pes4online. IF you only have one installed, it will automatically use that game Added most most recent para_we8.bin file into cheat prevention. New para_w8 for pes4 has fully updated squads (with help from op3_354) Host and client both enter ip into game now. Added new MPSO cursor menu. Allows you to modify the player/GK cursor. No more rubbish auto cursor switching, if you dont want. It is off by default.
